Greece 14, Bedford 0

Greece, N.Y. scored seven runs in the fourth inning and handed Bedford a 14-0 loss Thursday in the American Legion Baseball Northeast Regional at Fitton Field in Worcester, Mass.
Bedford, which committed five errors, trailed 3-0 after one inning, 5-0 through two and 12-0 after four. The game ended after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.
Maddox Turck, Noah Durham and Jack Hinton collected Bedford’s only hits.
The loss dropped Bedford to 1-1 in the double-elimination tournament. Bedford will play Shrewsbury, Mass., in an elimination game Friday at 1 p.m.
