
According to multiple reports, the Pittsburgh Pirates recalled Amherst resident Cam Devanney from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday. The Pirates are scheduled to play the Red Sox on Saturday afternoon (4:10 p.m.)
Since joining the Pirates organization via trade from Kansas City on July 16, Devanney has slashed .256/.327/.361 with two homers, 11 RBIs and has scored 11 runs in 147 plate appearances. Devanney, 28, has experience at every infield position and will be making his MLB debut whenever he gets into a game.
Devanney graduated from Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Mass.. The Milwaukee Brewers selected him in the 15th round of the 2019 MLB draft.
