Coach’s Comment: “After a tough 2-1 loss in the state final to Monadnock, Bishop Brady returns its starting infield, which includes four all-staters. The outfield positions look like they will be filled by newcomers, Xander Guerra, Jacob Valliere, and Collin Schuerzer.
“Dan Shedd, an all-stater from a year ago, will lead the pitching staff and Guerra, a freshman, looks to be the No. 2 starter, with many arms available to eat up some innings including Gaudreault, Thomas, and Thresher.
“With our entire starting infield back and some talented newcomers in the outfield I think we have the ability to be very solid defensively. If we keep improving with the bats I also think we can put together a lineup that is capable of scoring runs. Pitching is a bit of a question mark as we graduated our top two starters, but I think Dan and Xander can give us quality starts and some other guys will need to step up to pitch some innings for us as well, but we do have a number of guys who have pitched before.”
