Schimoler dominates on the mound

Exeter High School’s Hayden Schimoler tossed five perfect innings in an 11-0 victory over Concord on Tuesday.

Schimoler threw 61 pitches, 44 for strikes. He struck out nine.

The Blue Hawks, who improved to 14-1 in Division I, scored four runs in the first, five in the third and two in the fourth. Mike Caron and Jack Dever each collected two of Exeter’s 10 hits.

The loss dropped Concord’s record to 6-11. Concord’s Jackson Martin pitched two-thirds of an inning and recorded two strikeouts.
