Pitching:
Senior Josh Martino (1.49 ERA, 67 K, 42.1 IP)
Senior- Eddie Charity (21 K, 20.2 IP)
Junior- Jason Sullo (2.33 ERA, 19 K, 21 IP)
Coach’s comment: “The pitching staff will lead the team, returning most of last season’s innings with Martino, Charity, and Sullo anchoring the rotation, while Coviello anchors behind the dish. Sophomore Alex Blanco (OF) and juniors Andy Connarn (OF/P) and Vince Folco (IF) are ready to take on expanded roles, building on their previous experience as underclassmen. Seniors Ben Urquhart (IF/P) and Drew Martinchick (P/OF) are expected to see increased roles on both sides of the diamond as well. Martino, Sullo, and Charity aim to contribute at the plate in addition to the mound, providing consistency as the team looks to build on last year.
“With a highly competitive schedule ahead, every game will be a test. The team’s experience should prove especially valuable early in the season as they look to establish momentum.”
