Ethan Battles (Exeter)
Battles tossed a complete game and struck out 16 to help Exeter open the Division I season with a 5-2 victory at Windham. Battles gave up four hits, one earned run and walked one.

Devyn Cheeney (Fall Mountain)
Cheeney struck out 12 in five innings of relief as Fall Mountain beat Kearsarge 5-2 in the Division III opener for each team. Cheney surrendered four hits, two runs and walked two. He also scored a run.

Ethan Gaudet (Souhegan)
Gaudet, a senior, pitched six innings to pick up the win in Souhegan’s 9-3 Division II victory against Oyster River. He allowed two runs, both unearned, on four hits and struck out six. Gaudet was also 1 for 4 with a stolen base and scored twice.

Jimmy Gilbert (Bedford)
Gilbert tossed four scoreless innings to earn the victory in Bedford’s 5-0 triumph over Manchester Memorial. He gave up two hits and struck out five. Gilbert also had two hits and an RBI in the win.

Brady Godette (Goffstown)
Godette opened the season by going 3 for 4 in a 10-4 victory against Alvirne. His hits included a solo home runs and an RBI double.

Logan Hoag (Merrimack)
Hoag, a junior, pitched 6.1 innings to collect the win in Merrimack’s 9-3 victory over Timberlane. He struck out 12 and walked three.

Greyson Holmes (Spaulding)
Holmes, Spaulding’s leadoff hitter, had two hits, walked twice and scored two runs as the Red Raiders started the Division I season by beating Portsmouth 10-4.

Ty Lindsay (Spaulding)
Lindsay had two hits, walked once and scored three runs as Spaulding knocked off Portsmouth 10-4.

Alex Turant (Concord)
Turant tossed six innings and struck out seven in Concord’s 2-0 victory over Bishop Guertin. He limited the Cardinals to four hits, walked two and scored a run.
