
Hollis-Brookline pitchers Ian Sinclair and Ben George combined to toss a no-hitter as Hollis-Brookline opened its Division II season with a 6-0 victory over Bow.
Sinclair struck out 11 in 5.1 innings. George entered the game with the bases loaded with one out in the sixth and escaped the jam by recording the second out on a pop out to right field before he ended the inning with a strikeout. George ended the day with four strikeouts in 1.2 innings.
Hollis-Brookline drew 13 walks in the win. Jordan Morelli, Marco Bergskaug, and Renzo Bergskaug each walked three times. Myers, Morelli, Marco Bergskaug, and Renzo Bergskaug each stole multiple bases for Cavaliers, who stole 14 bases in the game. Keenan Myers collected three hits in four at-bats. Myers doubled in the second inning, singled in the seventh and singled in the fourth. Morelli also doubled in the second inning.
Hollis-Brookline will play at Kennett on Wednesday.
