New Hampshire Senior American Legion Baseball teams are entering the final week of the regular season. Eight teams will qualify for the state tournament, four from each of the two districts (A and B).
Here’s what’s still at stake in each district:
DISTRICT B STANDINGS
Nashua 9-1
Exeter 9-4
Rochester 7-4
Salem 5-6
Londonderry 2-9
Portsmouth 2-10
— Nashua, Exeter and Rochester have clinched playoff berths.
— Nashua can clinch the No. 1 seed by beating Exeter on Monday.
— Exeter can finish no lower than third.
— Londonderry must win at least one game in a doubleheader against Rochester on Monday to remain eligible. If Rochester sweeps both games, Londonderry will be eliminated.
— Salem can clinch the fourth playoff spot in District B by beating Londonderry on Thursday, assuming Londonderry hasn’t been eliminated before that game.
— Portsmouth will be eliminated if it loses any of its three remaining games.
— Rochester owns the tiebreaker against Exeter.
DISTRICT A STANDINGS
Bedford 13-0
Lebanon 8-7
Keene 7-7
Laconia 6-7
Sweeney 5-7
Concord 6-9
Conway 5-8
Weare 4-9
— Bedford has clinched the No. 1 seed and will open the state tournament against the No. 4 seed from District B (10 a.m.) at Holman Stadium.
— All other teams in District B still have a chance to qualify. District B teams play a 17-game regular season.
