Ethan Battles (Exeter)
Battles tossed six scoreless innings during Exeter’s 2-0 triumph over Concord in the Division I tournament’s preliminary round. He limited the Crimson Tide to one hit and struck out three.
Des Bogle (John Stark)
Bogle went 2 for 4 with a double, scored once and drove in three runs during John Stark’s 9-2 victory over Pembroke Academy in the Division II tournament’s preliminary round.
Ethan Gaudet (Souhegan)
Gaudet got the win for pitching 4.2 innings of Souhegan’s 8-5 win against Coe-Brown. He gave up a run on four hits, walked one and struck out two. Gaudet also went 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI.
James Hannaford (Timberlane)
Hannaford reached base in each of his four plate appearances to help Timberlane beat Dover, 8-3. He had two hits and drove in two runs.
Kieran Lamb (Timberlane)
Lamb allowed two hits in six-plus innings to help Timberlane upset Dover 8-3 in the Division I tournament’s preliminary round. He carried a perfect game into the sixth inning and ended up with five strikeouts.
Andrew Martin (Exeter)
Martin collected two of his team’s three hits and scored a run to help Exeter advance to the Division I quarterfinals with a 2-0 victory over Concord.
Blake Powers (Souhegan)
Powers, a senior, went 1 for 1 and walked twice in an 8-5 victory over Coe-Brown. His hit was a double. He also had two RBIs and scored a run.
Mike Santosuosso (Timberlane)
Timberlane received two hits and three RBIs from Santosuosso in is 8-3 victory over Dover. He also scored twice.
Jack Sheppard (John Stark)
Sheppard pitched 6.2 innings and struck out 12 in John Stark’s 9-2 win against Pembroke Academy. He gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits.
Hunter Spencer (Spaulding)
Spencer tossed a complete-game four-hitter to lead Spaulding to a 5-1 upset over Bedford in the Division I tournament’s preliminary round. He struck out eight and walked one.
Grady St. Jean (Concord Christian)
St. Jean struck out 17 in a complete-game pitching performance, but Concord Christian lost to Gorham, 4-0, in the Division IV tournament’s preliminary round.
