Spaulding’s George resigns

When the 2019 NHIAA baseball season begins Paul George will not be in the Spaulding High School dugout.

George resigned earlier this week after seven seasons as the program’s head coach. The Red Raiders posted a 79-60 record in those seven seasons and won the Division I title in 2015.

George, who graduated from Spaulding in 1988, also served as the school’s varsity ice hockey coach for 16 seasons and led the Red Raiders to three Division II championships during his tenure.
