Date set for Underwood Game

The Baseball Coaches Association of New Hampshire announced Tuesday that this year’s Underwood Game, a nine-inning contest, will be played June 19 (6 p.m.) at Nashua’s Holman Stadium.
Tryouts will be held at Londonderry High School on June 12 and 13 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Any Junior on an NHIAA varsity roster is eligible to try out.
More than 24 colleges were represented at last year’s game.
Why Players Should Attend
- To give players the opportunity to perform and showcase specific skills to a large number of college coaches and/or professional scouts at one time.
- The opportunity to have their skills (running, throwing, fielding, hitting and more) measured and evaluated by professional baseball people.
- To help college coaches at all levels: NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, and junior colleges find players appropriate for their programs.
