Coaches comment: Last season was a great start on the path to rebuilding the Nashua North baseball program. Seniors Joe Berman and Varun Lingadal, who both gained valuable playoff experience on the mound last year lead our pitching staff. We will look to pitch by committee around them using a lot of young arms.
James Bolton and Trevor Kelly look to repeat their All-State seasons from a year ago and lead us offensively as well as up the middle on defense. We will be relying on a lot of new faces to step up and fill roles that were held by last year’s senior class. The addition of senior Tony Gallinaro and returning starter junior Brian Ascani will help sure up our lineup and outfield.
It is a battle every game in Division 1 and every team presents a tough challenge. I believe that the division is very deep especially with the additions of Portsmouth and Goffstown. Look for the typical favorites (Pinkerton, Exeter, Bedford, Londonderry) to be in the same place again.
