Coaches comment: We look to build off a playoff season from a year ago. The core of returners are another year older and we will look towards them to bring a veteran presence. As always, pitching will be the key and will determine how the season goes for the Spartans. We look towards veteran leadership with Nixon and Manteau, who look to guide the likes of Wagner, Daniels, Cassidy and company. The Spartans look to build their sophomores (Cove Boucher and Escabi) and freshman (Ardine) in all facets of the game. With all of this we look to be playing our best ball at the right time and make a return trip to the playoffs.
