BOWIE, Md. — The New Hampshire Fisher Cats fell to the Bowie Baysox (Orioles) 6-0 Tuesday night at Prince George’s Stadium, the second time the Fisher Cats have been blanked this season.
The Baysox struck first for a run in the opening stanza. Mason McCoy singled, stole second, went to third on a ground out and scored on a sacrifice fly from Yusniel Diaz to make it 1-0.

Bowie manufactured another run in the second. Chris Clare doubled, advanced to third on a ground ball to the right side and scored via a sac fly that put the Baysox up 2-0.
Another pair of runs scored for the Baysox in the sixth. A lead-off single set up back-to-back two-out RBI doubles to pad the Bowie advantage.
Yennsy Diaz (L, 4-5) went six innings and allowed four runs on seven hits with no walks and two strikeouts.
Bowie plated another two runs in the eighth thanks to an error, two walks and an RBI single to lead – and eventually win – 6-0.

- Vinny Nittoli tossed a perfect inning of relief.
The series continues Wednesday night. RHP Hector Perez (402, 5.34 ERA) will go for New Hampshire while LHP Bruce Zimmerman (1-1, 2.85 ERA) gets the nod for Bowie.
