2020 SUMMER BASEBALL TEAM PREVIEW
Souhegan

League/Division: New England Independent Baseball League (NEIBL)/Junior Varsity Division.

Head coach: Paul Levesque.

Assistant coaches: Sean Leonard, Brian Nowak, Nolan O’Hara, and Adam Levesque.

High schools represented: Souhegan, Milford.

Home field: Souhegan High School.

Roster: Matt Canavan, Utility; Connor Cassidy, OF; Alan Clay, OF; Sam Ronzio, OF; Nick Conforti, C/P; Tommy Hanlon, C; Carter Hayes, P/1B; Carter Leonard, 2B/P; Maddux McGrath, P/IF; Nick Nowak, SS/P; Alex Poulack, IF/OF; Mike Wilkinson, Utility; Landon Montgomery, 1B/P; Nolan Colby, SS/P.

Season opener: June 29 at Goffstown/Derryfield.

Coach’s comment: “We are a very young team comprised of a core of rising high school freshman players who won their middle school championship in 2019. There is a mix of young talent that has started to re-gel quickly as a team during our early small group workouts we have had. These players are itching to get things underway and to get back on the diamond. The players just want this summer season to get going so they can work on their games, get used to the pitching changes at the high school level, and to compete each day we take the field. We look forward to the high level of competition that the NEIBL will present over the next six weeks. This group will undoubtedly pay dividends to improving the high school programs at Souhegan and Milford for the next four years.”
