Londonderry Juniors beat Exeter

Ryan Williams pitched a complete game to lead the Londonderry American Legion Baseball Junior team to a 4-2 victory over Exeter on Thursday night at Phillips Exeter Academy.

Londonderry (2-0) scored a run in the first inning, and three in the third. Londonderry’s Liam Stott collected two hits and reached base three times.

Exeter (1-1) starter Evan Tanner allowed two earned runs in three innings. Dylan Cummings pitched three scoreless innings of relief, and Cam Piwnicki tossed a scoreless seventh.

Derek Leedberg and Matt Forsyth scored for Exeter, which received hits from Forsyth, Jakob Schwarz, Rex Sullivan, Will Simpson and Gavin Duquette.
