Rollinsford’s Gould turns pro

EVERLY, Mass. – Rollinsford resident Kevin Gould has signed a professional contract with the Missoula PaddleHeads of the Pioneer League.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to continue playing baseball. It has been an awesome journey and I owe everyone who’s been a part of it a huge thank you,” Gould said.

Gould pitched for Endicott College from 2016 to 2020 and posted a 14-4 record in 24 starts (30 appearances) over 141 2/3 innings pitched. He also racked up 135 strikeouts (8.58 K/9) and registered a 2.54 earned run average, the fourth-lowest in program history (minimum 75 IP).

Gould was selected as the 2017 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Pitcher of the Year. Following his career with the Gulls, Gould completed a graduate season at NCAA Division I Bryant University.

Gould shined for the Bulldogs this past season, when he posted a 3-1 record, four saves, a 2.03 ERA, and 42 strikeouts in 31 innings pitched (17 appearances, one start).

Gould played both baseball and football at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover.
