Dufault, Malgeri feel draft

DENVER — Northeastern outfielders Jared Dupere and Ben Malgeri, and pitcher Brandon Dufault were each selected in the 2021 Major League Baseball Draft Tuesday afternoon. Malgeri is a Stratham resident, and Dufault is from Windah.

Drafted by the San Francisco Giants (13th round, 386th overall pick)

  • Struck out 22 batters in 17.0 innings pitched

Drafted by the Detroit Tigers (18th round, 525th overall pick)
