Coaches comment: “Last season was a great opportunity for the Hawks to gain valuable game experience since only three had seen varsity time in 2019 as freshmen. The Hawks return all nine starters and with five arms returning on the mound and the catching of junior Armen Laylagian the Hawks hope to be back in the hunt again this season.  In order to have a chance this season the hitting has to improve on last year’s team batting average of .282.  The pitching needs to be a little more consistent throwing strikes and the defense needs to continue making plays. I really like these guys, they work hard, focus on the fundamentals and have great attitudes.  Add in the fact that they all got a little stronger physically during the off season, I think we will be competitive.

“Division III baseball will continue to be strong again this season with defending champ Monadnock as the clear favorite.”
