Coach’s Comment: “MV returns seven regulars from last season including St. A’s bound Ben Rose. Pitching figures to be a strength with Bernier, Lacasse and Dougherty forming a solid rotation. Rose, Chevarie and Wheeler will all see action out of the Pride bullpen. While the outfield is a bit unsettled, Wheeler will be back in center field while Wood, Garvin, Fisher and Mercer compete for playing time.
Rose anchors the infield defense from his shortstop position with McGee back behind the plate. MV is excited to build upon last year and make a run deep into the Division II playoffs.”
