Sean Agonis (Mascenic)
• Agonis, a senior shortstop, went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run and finished the day with three RBIs in an 11-4 victory over Raymond. He also pitched two shutout innings in relief and struck out three.
Owen Bernier (Merrimack Valley)
• Bernier struck out 10 in five innings to help Merrimack Valley open its season with a 14-0 victory over Laconia.
Keegan Burke (Souhegan)
• Burke surrendered one hit and struck out nine in four innings to pick up the win as Souhegan improved to 2-0 in Division II with a 15-1 victory against Pelham.
Anthony Boomer (Winnisquam)
• Boomer hit a grand slam in the first inning of Winnisquam’s 14-0 win over Franklin. He finished the game with three hits and five RBIs.
Cam Chevarie (Merrimack Valley)
• Chevarie collected two hits and scored three runs in Merrimack Valley’s victory against Laconia.
Nolan Colby (Souhegan)
• Colby, Souhegan’s starting shortstop, went 2-for-4 with three RBIs in Souhegan’s victory over Pelham.
Alex Comire (Derryfield)
• Comire, Derryfield’s starting shortstop, collected two hits, drove in two runs and scored twice in a win against Sunapee. He also reached base on a walk.
Albert De La Rosa (Nashua South)
• De La Rosa had two hits — a home run and a triple — as Nashua South raised its record to 2-0 by beating Exeter 6-1.
AJ Fennelly (Concord)
• Fennelly had two hits, including a solo home run, drove in two runs and scored three times in Concord’s 12-5 triumph against Alvirne.
Hayden Goerlich (Souhegan)
• Goerlich struck out the side in the fifth inning — his only inning on the mound — in Souhegan’s 15-1 triumph over Pelham.
Cam Hujsak (Goffstown)
• Hujsak hit a three-run home run — the first homer of his varsity career — drove in the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly and also earned his first varsity win on the mound in a 7-4 victory against Nashua North.
Evan Kaplo (Bishop Guertin)
• Kaplo tossed a five-inning complete game and struck out 10 as BG beat Spaulding, 11-0. He surrendered three hits and didn’t walk a batter. Kaplo also went 2-for-4 with a double and scored twice.
Mark Labonville (Winnisquam)
• Labonville struck out six and allowed one hit in three innings to earn the win in Winnisquam’s 14-0 victory over Franklin. He also went 3-for-3.
Jack Lano (Coe-Brown)
• Lano allowed two earned runs and struck out 10 in five innings to help Coe-Brown beat Oyster River 8-3.
Padge MacSeain/Zak Lussier (Hollis-Brookline)
• MacSeain went 1-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored in Hollis-Brookline’s 9-0 win against Milford. He also combined with Zak Lussier to toss a one-hitter. MacSeain finished with four strikeouts, and Lussier struck out three. Lussier was also 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Jackson Marshall (Pinkerton)
• Marshall had two hits, including a triple, and drove in three runs to help Pinkerton defeat South Portland, Maine, 7-5.
Eliot Medlock (Merrimack)
• Medlock, a sophomore, pitched a complete game to help Merrimack defeat Windham 7-1. He surrendered two hits and struck out six. Medlock also went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs.
Alex Nichols (Winnisquam)
• Nichols went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs in Winnisquam’s victory over Franklin.
Owen O’Brien (Hopkinton)
• O’Brien had two hits and two RBIs to help Hopkinton defeat Somersworth 15-5.
Jake Pelletier (Coe-Brown)
• Pelletier went 3-for-4 with two RBIs as Coe-Brown opened its season with an 8-3 win against Oyster River.
Will Perkowski (Derryfield)
• Perkowski tossed a complete game in a 7-1 triumph over Sunapee. He allowed one run on seven hits and walked three. He threw 96 pitches, 62 of which were strikes.
Jack Reynolds (Concord)
• Reynolds went 2-for-5 with three RBIs and scored once in Concord’s victory over Alvirne. His hits inlcuded a two-run home run.
Max Riordan (Bishop Guertin)
• Riordan went 3-for-4 with a double, scored twice and drove in a run during BG’s 11-0 victory over Spaulding.
Tom Rioux (Pinkerton Academy)
• Rioux pitched six innings to collect the win in a 7-5 victory over South Portland, Maine. He allowed one earned run on eight hits and struck out 11. Rioux also went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
Ben Rose (Merrimack Valley)
• Rose went 1-for-2 and drove in four of his team’s 14 runs during a season-opening win against Laconia.
Nick Shaw (Nashua South)
• Shaw pitched six innings to earn the win in South’s 6-1 triumph over Exeter. He struck out four and didn’t walk a batter.
Ryan Strand (Goffstown)
• Strand went 3-for-3 with three RBIs to help Goffstown defeat Nashua North, 7-4.
Nater Wachter (Concord)
• Wachter went 2-for-4 with a grand slam that broke a 5-5 tie in the top of the eighth inning to help Concord beat Alvirne 12-5. He also scored twice.
Gavin Wheeler (Merrimack Valley)
• Wheeler had two hits, scored twice and drove in two runs in a 14-0 triumph over Laconia.
