Coaches comment: “The 2023 Oyster River baseball team will need to develop quickly if it wants to return to the 11-5 record the Bobcats posted in 2022. If the team can hold steady through the first half of the season, it could develop into a contending playoff team. Much emphasis will be put on the pitching staff gaining experience. The team hopes to return to the team .301 average it posted in 2022. Division II will continue to be deep. Many teams have a legitimate chance in the tournament. Saint Thomas would have to be an early season favorite.”
