Coach’s comment: We  are going to be very young this year.  We have a good core of players who devoted a lot of time into the off-season. Our pitchers are going to need to hit their spots and get ground balls. I feel that plays right into our largest strength, which should be our defense. We are smart in the infield with guys who have been playing together for a long time while our outfield is fast.  The goal will be to get to our closer, Devin Smith, who will close the door.  Like most teams, for us to be successful, our veterans have to play well, and our young guys have to emerge.”
