Coaches comment: “The Blue Devils underwent a coaching change midseason last year, resulting in a rejuvenated group. With 10 returning varsity players, the group is led by a large senior class looking to end their high school careers with a bang. The group returns almost all of their pitchers and key defensive pieces, and looks to take pride in playing clean defense this year. Epping is scheduled to open the season Monday April 8 hosting Mascenic.

“New Hampshire Division IV figures to be a toss-up this year. A lot of new coaches at schools that are traditionally at the top, so it will be interesting to see what adjustments are made. The uniqueness of Division IV splitting between North and South also makes for a fun tournament, and recovering from a three-hour bus ride sometimes makes the difference come playoff time.”
