Exeter clinches tourney berth

George Young tossed a complete game to help the Exeter Post 32 American Leagion Baseball team defeat Salem’s Post 63 6-2 Tuesday night at Phillips Exeter Academy.
Young allowed five hits, struck out five and walked two. He gave up one earned run.
Young and Cam Snee each collected three hits for Exeter. Ryan Morgado added two RBIs.
Exeter (5-8) secured a berth in the Senior Division’s state tournament with the win.
Salem (6-7) received two hits from Sean Roeger and Cooper Deschene.
