Salem’s Tommy Ahlers collected two hits, including his first home run of the season, drove in two runs and scored twice to help Keene State College defeat Salem State 8-5 Wednesday. Ahlers, who played at Salem High School, leads the team with a .426 average and also has a team-high 15 RBIs.
— Freshman Jackson Marshall and junior Jake Risedorf hit back-to-back homers as Southern New Hampshire baseball beat Saint Anselm College 7-4 in a Northeast-10 Conference game on Wednesday at Sullivan Park. Marshall, who helped Pinkerton Academy win the NHIAA Division I baseball and basketball championship last season, shares the team-lead in home runs (four) with Concord’s Nater Wachter. Marshall also leads the team in RBIs with 24.
— Merrimack Valley graduate Simon Kearygot the start on the mound for Colby-Sawyer and allowed a run on two hits and struck out three in four innings of a 5-2 loss to Gordon College on Wednesday. Stratham’s Brady Young allowed one hit in a scoreless innings of relief.
