Franklin Pierce earns top seed
- Updated: May 5, 2025

MANSFIELD, Mass. – American International and Franklin Pierce clinched regular season titles on Saturday and will be the top seeds in the Southwest and Northeast Divisions, respectively, when the Northeast-10 Conference Baseball Championship begins on Tuesday.
It is the first time since 1991 that American International has won an NE10 regular season title in baseball, while Franklin Pierce wins its first since 2016 — snapping a seven-year streak for Southern New Hampshire.
American International (19-23, 13-11 NE10) won a tightly-contested Southwest Division by one game over New Haven, Pace and Southern Connecticut. The Yellow Jackets, under head coach Nick Callini, will be the No. 1 seed in the Southwest Division and are one win on Tuesday away from hosting NE10 Championship Weekend.
Franklin Pierce (30-18, 20-5 NE10) finished the season by winning 12 of 14 games — including a series win at Southern New Hampshire last weekend — to claim the regular season championship in the Northeast Division. The Ravens, ranked fifth in the latest Division II East Region rankings, have finished as runner-up in the NE10 Championship each of the past two seasons.
There will be four quarterfinal matchups Tuesday — with each game streamed on NE10 NOW on FloSports. In the Northeast Division, Franklin Pierce will play Saint Anselm, and Bentley will host Southern New Hampshire. On the Southwest Division side, American International will take on New Haven, while Pace welcomes Southern Connecticut.
