
LONDONDERRY — Cooper Deschene collected two hits, including a two-run single in the fifth inning, to help 11th-seeded Salem High School defeat third-seeded Londonderry 3-2 Sunday in the Division I quarterfinals.
Derek Boodoo also had two hits for the Blue Devils, who will face 10th-seeded Winnacunnet in Wednesday’s semifinals at Holman Stadium. Owen Doherty also RBI for the Blue Devils.
Dom Toscano held Londonderry to two runs on five hits in 4.2 innings. Jack Quinby pitched 2.1 scoreless innings.
Jaylen Stott pitched a complete game for Londonderry, which led 2-1 after one inning. Stott gave up eight hits, struck out seven and walked two.
Stott and Sully Daron each collected a hit and an RBI for the Lancers.
