
Brady McGovern collected two hits, drove in three runs and pitched two scoreless innings of relief to lead the Exeter Post 32 Senior American Legion Baseball team to an 11-0 victory over Merrimack on Tuesday night at Merrimack High School.
Zach Hill, Thad McConnell and Nate Gallant each added two hits for Exeter, which scored a run in the first, one in the third, three in the fourth, three in the sixth and three in the seventh. Hill also had two RBIs. Andrew Martin drew four walks and reached base five times.
Josh Rohloff earned the win for holding Merrimack to two hits in five innings. He struck out six and walked four. Merrimack’s Ethan Gaudet allowed five runs on six hits in five innings and took the loss. He struck out nine.
Trevor Sullivan led the Merrimack offense with two hits.
Exeter (3-1) will face Londonderry on Wednesday at Phillips Exeter Academy. First pitch it at 5:30 p.m.
