Exeter 7, Rochester 3

Thad McConnell collected three hits, two RBIs and scored twice as the Exeter Post 32 Senior American Legion Baseball team extended its winning streak to four games by beating Rochester Post 7, 7-3, on Friday night at Phillips Exeter Academy.
Nate Gallant added two hits and three RBIs for Post 32, which raised its District B record to 9-3.
Josh Rohloff earned the win for limiting Rochester to two runs (none earned) on four hits in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out four and walked one. Jack Dever pitched the final 1 1/3 innings.
Owen Nesbitt struck out eight in five innings, but took the loss. He allowed five runs on seven hits and walked three.
Connor Jackson, Cole Enman and Wesley Alfonso each had an RBI for Post 7 (5-7). Alfonso also stole two bases.
Zach Hill and Jackie Prompradit each had an RBI for Exeter, which will play at Portsmouth on Monday.
