Coaches comment: We are returning a lot of key pieces from our team a year ago, but still have some big question marks that need to be figured out. We will rely heavily on our infield play. This will be the third year in a row with McGill and Day playing together up the middle and we return Gulezian at third base this spring. The biggest key to our success will be our pitching. If we can stay healthy on the mound, then we should be competitive throughout the season.

Exeter (state champion the last two seasons) and Bedford (four title appearances in four seasons) have to be the favorites coming into the season. The addition of Windham, Portsmouth and Goffstown will really shake up the landscape in Division I. There will be a lot of teams ready to compete come late May/early June, which always makes a one-and-done tournament very interesting.
