Coaches comment: Nashua North will be featuring almost an entirely new roster from a year ago after graduating 12 seniors. We will be relying on a lot of new faces to step up and fill roles that were held by last year’s senior class. In their third year of varsity experience, Brian Ascani and Hector Rodriguez will look to add stability to this inexperienced group.

“Last year’s promising newcomers, Alex Meesig and Corey O’Day, will look to lead our pitching staff in the 2020 season. On any given day, both have the ability to win games in Division 1.

“It is a battle every game in Division 1 and every team presents a tough challenge. I believe that the division is very deep with many teams able to make a run. Look for the typical favorites (Pinkerton, Exeter, Bedford, Londonderry) to be in the same place again.”

New Hampshire Hardball is proceeding as if there will be a spring sports season, so team previews will be posted as they are received. Coaches can submit previews via email: In addition, the New Hampshire Hardball Top 50, a list of top high school players in the state, was released last week. This is XTRA content.
