Tides raise record to 6-0

The Northeast Tides overcame a five-run deficit to earn a 9-6 victory over the Beverly Recs on Saturday.

The Tides improved to 6-0 with the win.

Trailing 5-0 in the bottom of the third, the Tides began their comeback with RBI singles from Keagan Calero and Nolan Elmore. Then, trailing 5-3, Northeast tied the game on a two-run home run from Zack Clough.

After the Recs took a 6-5 lead in the top of the sixth, the Tides regained the lead on Sam Lachance’s two-run single that scored Calero and Jon Dube. Calero doubled earlier in the inning, and Dube reached base on a walk.
