With the scored tied, 7-7, in the bottom of the seventh, Elmore led off the inning with a double over the head of the Marlins’ center fielder. Clough followed with a single to right that scored Elmore and triggered an on-field celebration.

After walk to Aiden McDonough and Ryan Coleman, the Tides produced six consecutive hits. Max Malila’s double scored McDonough, and then Keagan Calero, Sam LaChance, Elmore, Clough and Jonathan Dube followed with hits to tie the score. The Marlins regained the lead by scoring twice in the top of the fifth, but the Tides pulled even when Calero stole home with runners on first and third in the bottom of the sixth.
