Maine, Sargent make it official

ORONO – Portsmouth High School infielder Myles Sargent is one of six players the University of Maine has added to its 2020 fall recruiting class.
Sargent (Greenland), Colin Fitzgerald (Lititz, Penn.), Joshua Zambito (Pittsburgh, Penn.), Andrew Chevarie (Leominster, Mass.), Sebastian Holt (Woodbridge, Conn.), Caleb Leys (Middletown, R.I.) have all signed their National Letter of Intent to come to Orono in 2021.
“This is a talented group that will continue the tradition of competitiveness that we expect at the University of Maine,” Maine coach Nick Derba said. “Each individual brings their own strengths to the program, but it’s evident that they are all Black Bears. All they want to do is win, and when they get here next fall they will join a team with a similar mindset. People here want to win at everything.”
