Langis collects NECC award

HENNIKER — The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) has selected Garrett Langis (Rochester/Spaulding HS) as the confernce’s Rookie of the Week.
Langis played in three games for the Pilgrims during the week, hitting a triple and a home run, and knocking in two runs. He also scored four times, drew two walks and collected three stolen bases as NEC went 1-2.
Through six games, Langis is leading the Pilgrims in batting average (.353), hits (6), triples (1), home runs (2), runs batted in (5), on-base percentage (.500), and slugging percentage (.824).
