Outlook/Coach’s Comment: “With just four players returning from the last time the Clippers took the field in the 2019 semifinals, there are questions everywhere as they head into the 2021 season. There is some top-end talent however, as Virginia-commit Ryan Minckler, UMaine commit Myles Sargent, and UMass commit Justin Blumenthal provide a good foundation. Max Lalime is the other returning player from 2019, and he compiled 38 at-bats as a freshman that year and looks to be ready for an increased role. With the pod-based random-draw tournament format, getting out of the East — which may be the toughest group in the state — will be a challenge. Winnacunnet is loaded, and Dover, Exeter, and Spaulding are always among the top programs in the entire state. Elsewhere, Bedford, Concord, Pinkerton, and Londonderry are among the best per usual.”
