Clippers climb statewide rankings

NEW HAMPSHIRE HARDBALL
High School Rankings

The Top 10 NHIAA baseball teams entering the final week of the regular season. Records are according to the latest information provided to New Hampshire Hardball.

1. Pinkerton (14-1)
The Astros have the best record of any Division I team. That keeps them at the top of this list.

2. Portsmouth  (13-2)
Portsmouth’s 10-game winning streak includes back-to-back victories over Winnacunnet last week.

3. Londonderry (13-3)
The Lancers have two games with rival Pinkerton this week. Too bad there’s not more than bragging rights at stake.

4. Bedford (11-3)
Bedford opened its season with back-to-back losses against Concord, but since then few teams have been as good as the Bulldogs.

5. Winnacunnet (13-4)
The Warriors seem to be taking on water, but they ended a three-game losing streak with a victory over Manchester Central.

6. Alvirne (11-3)
The Broncos have been flying under the radar, but have won seven of their last eight.

7. Concord (11-4)
Crimson Tide will have to shake off Friday night’s 10-0 loss to Concord.

8. Hanover (11-0)
The schedule is suspect, that doesn’t mean the Marauders don’t have talent.

9. Windham  (9-2-1)
The Jaguars posted two shutout victories over Exeter last week (9-0 and 8-0).

10. Kingswood (10-1)
The Knights have five shutouts in their last six games, and have allowed one run during that span.

ON DECK: Keene (9-5), Hollis-Brookline (8-2), Milford (8-2) and Souhegan (11-4).
