Offense carries Exeter Juniors

The Exeter Post 32 American Legion Baseball Junior team collected 19 hits in a 22-11 victory over Derry Post 9 Monday night.
Shortstop Gavin Duquette had three hits, a stolen base and scored four times for Post 32, which raised its District B record to 2-1. Center fielder Cam Keaveney also had three hits for Exeter. Rex Sullivan, Jakob Mikhitarian, Nolan Ash and Will Simpson each added two hits in the win.
The loss dropped Derry’s record to 1-1.
Exeter is scheduled to play at Salem on Tuesday night (5:30 p.m.).
