Loss eliminates Post 6

The Portsmouth Post 6 Senior American Legion Baseball team had its season come to and end Friday following a 3-2 loss to Hamburg, N.Y. in the Northeast Regional played at Fitton Field in Worcester, Mass.
Portsmouth trailed 3-2 after four inning, but came up empty in its final three at-bats. Post 6 scored a run in the third and one in the fourth.
Myles Sargent led the Portsmouth offense with two hits. Will Hindle (1 for 2, RBI), Owen Fox (1 for 4) and Brandon Kady (1 for 3) collected Portsmouth’s other hits. Boden Driscoll also had an RBI.
Post 6 finished with a 1-2 record in the tournament.
