Doyle headed to Coastal Carolina

Pinkerton Academy left-handed pitcher Liam Doyle has committed to Coastal Carolina. He made the announcement on his Twitter account:
I am very excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career to play D1 baseball at Coastal Carolina University. Doyle, a senior, posted an 8-0 record with a 0.55 ERA record last season, when he surrendered four earned runs in 51.1 innings. He struck out 101 batters and walked 15.
Doyle struck out the first 12 batters he faced when Pinkerton beat Division I runner-up Winnacunnet. He finished that game with 16 strikeouts. Doyle also struck out 13 in a five-inning no-hitter against Bishop Guertin.
