Fish earns America East honor

BOSTON, Mass. – UMass-Lowell freshman Brandon Fish (Londonderry, N.H.) has been named the America East Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
Fish, a Londonderry High School graduate, hit .364 in a 2-1 week for the River Hawks, compiling a .818 slugging percentage. Fish drove in six runs and scored two of his own, with four hits in 11 at-bats. He also hit his second home run of the season on March 5 against Central Michigan.
Fish helped Londonderry reach the NHIAA Division I semifinals last season.
