Concord bounced from tourney

Concord Post 21 had its season end following an 8-2 loss to Franklin, Mass., Thursday in the American Legion Baseball Northeast Regional at Holy Cross’ Fitton Field.
Shortstop Trevor Smith, third baseman Dawson Fancher and left fielder Ryan Kastle each collected two hits for Concord.
Franklin scored two runs in the first, two in the third and four in the sixth. Concord’s Dan Revellese took the loss.
Concord lost to Greece, N.Y. on the tournament’s opening day. Franklin, Mass., was coming off a loss to the Vermont state champion from Brattleboro.
