Dayton selected third in Atlantic 10

TUCSON, Ariz. – Collegiate Baseball’s 2023 preview issue picks the University of Dayton baseball team to finish third in the Atlantic 10 Conference for the 2023 season. Last year’s top two teams – Davidson and VCU – were the only teams picked ahead of Dayton.
Dayton has two New Hampshire residents on its roster: sophomore catcher Matt Maloney (Windham) and shortstop Keagan Calero (Rochester).
The Flyers were 23-27 in 2022, and finished tied for eighth in the Atlantic 10. Dayton opens the season on Friday, Feb. 17 at Western Kentucky.
Former Franklin Pierce head coach Jayson King is entering his sixth season as Dayton’s head coach.
