LEC honors Salem’s Ahlers

Keene State outfielder Tommy Ahlers (Salem, N.H.) was named the Little East Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday.
Ahlers hit .462 in five games last week, batting 6-for-13 with four doubles and four RBIs. He was 3-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI, and a stolen base against Salem State (March 13) and 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored against Wells (March 14). He also knocked in two runs against Suffolk (March 16).
Ahlers and the Owls (4-7) resume action against Westfield State on Thursday at 3 p.m.
