Games to Watch

TOP GAMES THIS WEEK

Some of the top games on this week’s NHIAA schedule …

DIVISION I
Portsmouth (6-2) at Exeter (7-1)

These appear to be two of the top teams in the state, and will meet Monday in Exeter. Possible pitching matchup: Cam Keaveny (Exeter) vs. Boden Driscoll (Portsmouth)

Londonderry (7-1) at Pinkerton (6-2)

The Astros and Lancers each reached last year’s Division I championship game — Pinkerton prevailed — and will face each other Saturday in Derry. Londonderry and Exeter enter the week as only Division I teams with fewer than two losses.

DIVISION II

Hanover (5-0) at Hollis/Brookline (6-1)

Hanover, one of two unbeatens remaining in Division II, will take the long bus ride to Hollis on Friday to meet last year’s Division II champions.

St. Thomas (6-0) at John Stark (4-2)

This is also a Friday matchup. John Stark handed Hollis/Brookline its first loss last week. Can the Generals do the same to St. Thomas?

DIVISION III

Gilford (3-1) at Monadnock (6-0)

Can Gilford end Monadnock’s 31-game winning streak?

DIVISION IV

Sunapee (5-1) at Derryfield (6-1)

Each of these teams could go deep into the postseason. They’ll meet in Manchester on Monday.

Mascenic (4-2) at Newmarket (6-2)

Mascenic won the first matchup this season 10-6. Round 2 will be Wednesday in Newmarket.

DIVISION III/IV

White Mountains (3-1) at Littleton (7-0)

White Mountains is one of the top programs in Division III, and Littleton has one of the top programs in Division IV. They’ll be on the same field Monday.
