Coaches comment: “The team is made up of a deep lineup offensively, led by Owen Carey, Jayden Hamilton and Johan Pena. There is experience up and down the roster and the new faces who are coming in this year show exceptional promise. We believe it is a good mix of seniors and underclassmen, with strong JV and Reserve teams being developed.
“We lost all but 11 innings on the mound from last year, but the coaches have full confidence that the incoming pitchers will do a great job filling in. Led by Brady Gillis and Devin Boles — we are also lucky to have a strong bullpen lead by Joey Cafaro, Ryan Williams and Ryan Perry.
“The team is solid defensively, with many of our players selflessly willing to work at numerous positions to adjust to any adversity that could come up. Overall, we hope to be competitive and give our best, that’s all anyone can do.
“The league will be difficult again this year with Bishop Guertin, Pinkerton, Portsmouth and what I feel will be a good Keene team leading a quality D1 pack this season.”
