Bishop Guertin 8, Windham 4

Sam Franco tossed four scoreless innings to lead Bishop Guertin to an 8-4 victory over Windham on Sunday.
Franco didn’t allow a hit, struck out 10 and walked three. Jackson Goldstein collected three hits for the Cardinals (1-0). BG also received two hits from Jake Boudreau , Josh Wilson and Kolby Piper.
BG scored three runs in the first inning, one in the fourth and four in the sixth. The Cardinals collected 12 hits in the game.
Chris Brearley had a hit and two RBIs for Windham (1-2), which did all of its scoring in the top of the seventh.
