Cam Keaveney (Exeter)
• Keaveney struck out 11 batters in five innings to help Exeter open its season with a 3-2 victory over Trinity. Keaveney allowed two runs on five hits and walked one. He also walked twice and drove in a run. Schimoler also had one of Exeter’s three hits, walked twice and scored twice.
Eli Kopcha (Keene)
• Kopcha, Keene’s No. 9 hitter, went 2 for 4 with four RBIs to help Keene improve to 3-0 with a 15-2 win against Manchester Central/West. Keene has outscored its opponents 25-3.
Hayden Schimoler (Exeter)
• Schimoler pitched two scoreless innings of relief to earn the win in Exeter’s 3-2 triumph over Trinity. He struck out four, walked one and didn’t allow a hit.
