Phillies select Day

The Philadelphia Phillies selected Pinkerton Academy graduate Brady Day in Round 10 (No. 312 overall) of this year’s MLB Draft: 

  • 2B Brady Day, Kansas State University (KS) – The 22-year-old left-handed hitter slashed .318/.426/.513 (.939 OPS) with 15 doubles, two triples, nine home runs, 56 RBI, 44 walks, 47 runs scored and 16 stolen bases as a redshirt junior in 2024, earning All-Big 12 First Team honors. A 6-foot, 190-pound Hampstead resident, Day was named a Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star in 2023 and was selected in the 12th round of the 2023 MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves but did not sign.
